PHI is listed in the State Register in the "Pre-harvest waiting period (days)" column and on every product label. Typical Ukrainian values: glyphosate on wheat as desiccant — 7 days, Axial — 45, Amistar — 35, Coragen — 14, Actellic (stored grain) — 14. EU exports face stricter limits — MRLs under Regulation 396/2005 (ec.europa.eu/food). MRL breaches mean shipment rejection + USD 150–400/t financial loss + loss of TRACES-NT reliable-supplier status. A special issue is sunflower and rapeseed desiccation: glyphosate is permitted 10–14 days before harvest, but in 2025 the EU cut the glyphosate sunflower MRL from 15 to 10 mg/kg, effectively blocking pre-harvest use when grain moisture is expected to remain >12%. On-farm documentation of treatment dates is mandatory for phytosanitary certificates and organic certification.
