Sunflower Hybrid Buyer's Guide 2026: FAO Maturity, Yield, Oil Content

FAO maturity groups#

Picking an FAO group is the first step before talking brands. Early (FAO 300-400, 95-105 days) — optimal for Polissia, northern Forest-Steppe, and farms with a short vegetation window; 3.2-3.8 t/ha with moderate risk in wet years.
