Tank mix

Also known as: tank mixture

Full explanation

Typical Ukrainian tank mixes: herbicide + UAN-32 + adjuvant (cereals, first spring pass); fungicide + insecticide + micronutrients (rapeseed, bud stage); desiccant + boric acid (sunflower, pre-harvest). A jar test (30 min in a glass) is required before first using any new combination — colour change, precipitate, or layering indicates incompatibility. Mix order: 1) water, 2) WG dispersible granules, 3) SC liquid concentrates, 4) EC emulsifiable concentrates, 5) adjuvants, 6) liquid fertilizers (UAN, ammonium sulphate). Water pH 5.5–6.5 is optimal — above pH 7 many active ingredients hydrolyze (glyphosate, 2,4-D). The State Register of Pesticides lists permitted tank-mix partners for each product.
