About this product
MARSEL — a soil pre-emergence herbicide for maize based on isoxaflutole, 480 g/l, in the form of a suspension concentrate (SC). It is applied by spraying the soil before the emergence of the crop, where it forms a herbicide screen in the seed germination zone and controls annual dicotyledonous and grass weeds, in particular sunflower volunteers. The diketonitrile metabolite suppresses the biosynthesis of carotenoids and bleaches susceptible weeds. After precipitation the product is reactivated and controls subsequent waves of weeds. The application rate — 0,15–0,23 l/ha.
