About this product

Astral

Astral is a post-emergence oil-dispersion (OD) herbicide for maize, based on nicosulfuron (40 g/L) and enhanced by a built-in methylated rapeseed oil adjuvant and a synergist. It controls annual and perennial grass weeds and some broadleaf weeds through systemic action, penetrating foliage quickly to stop weed growth. Apply by spraying from the 3-leaf to 10-leaf stage of the crop (BBCH 13-19) at 1.0-1.5 L/ha, ideally on young, actively growing weeds.
