About this product
Merlin is a pre-emergence herbicide for corn based on isoxaflutole at 750 g/kg, formulated as water-dispersible granules. This systemic HPPD inhibitor is taken up by weed roots and shoots and blocks carotenoid biosynthesis, bleaching and killing emerging seedlings. It controls a broad range of annual grass and broadleaf weeds. Applied to the soil after sowing but before crop emergence at 0.1–0.15 kg/ha, its rain-activated reactivation mechanism restores activity for season-long weed control.
