About this product
Alvius
Alvius is a post-emergence systemic herbicide for maize, formulated as an oil dispersion containing 100 g/l nicosulfuron, a sulfonylurea that inhibits the acetolactate synthase enzyme. Absorbed by leaves and stems, it moves to the growth points and halts cell division. It controls annual and perennial grass weeds plus several annual broadleaf weeds. Apply on actively growing weeds — annual grasses at the 2-4 leaf stage — at 0.4-0.5 l/ha.
