About this product
Sigur is a three-component post-emergence herbicide for maize, formulated as water-dispersible granules combining mesotrione (515 g/kg), nicosulfuron (200 g/kg) and rimsulfuron (35 g/kg). The two sulfonylureas inhibit acetolactate synthase while mesotrione blocks carotenoid biosynthesis, giving systemic control of annual and perennial grasses plus a broad range of broadleaf weeds, including lambsquarters and volunteer sunflower and rapeseed. Apply once to maize from the 3- to 8-leaf stage together with the supplied Omega Plus adjuvant, when weeds are actively growing.
