Annex II (organic-certified allowlist)

Also known as: EU organic Annex II, organic-approved input list

Full explanation

Annex II Part I content (PPP): Bt preparations, copper products (up to 4 kg Cu/ha/yr, phased to 2030), sulfur, pyrethrum, azadirachtin (neem), pheromone dispensers, biological agents (Trichoderma, Bacillus subtilis, Beauveria). Part II (fertilizers): compost, manure from certified farms, bone meal, sedimentary phosphorite (Tunisia), K₂SO₄, green manure. FORBIDDEN: synthetic PPP (glyphosate, pyrethroids), mineral fertilizers like urea and AN, KCl, MAP/DAP. In Ukraine, organic certification is issued by Organic Standard (Lviv), ETKO (Germany), BIO Konzept — all accredited under EU Reg 2018/848 Art. 46. For a farmer buyer: if the farm holds «conversion» or organic status and a supplier labels a product «BIO» without an Annex II reference — it's likely a marketing label, not legal eligibility.
