Overview
About this product
YaraLiva NITRABOR — a granular nitrogen-calcium fertilizer for soil application. Nitrogen 15.4%, of which 14.1% nitrate and 1.3% ammonium, calcium 18.3% (CaO 25.6%), boron 0.3%.
Nitrate nitrogen is taken up by plants directly, is not volatile and is not bound by soil particles. Per the maker, calcium strengthens cell walls and improves the quality and storability of produce, and boron raises the efficiency of calcium and is especially needed by oilseed crops.
Calcium enters the plant passively, with the transpiration stream, so its soluble form must be in the root zone. Packs of 25 and 600 kg, country of manufacture: Norway.

Questions & answers
What farmers ask most
- Rates depend on crop, prior history and soil analysis. Urea and other straight nitrogen grades are not an NPK complex: a cereal ballpark is often 100–250 kg/ha of product, but the exact dose is an agronomist's call.
