Overview

About this product

FOLICARE 12-0-38 — a fast-dissolving NK fertilizer with magnesium and boron for foliar nutrition of crops demanding potassium and boron. Nitrogen 12% in nitrate (9.8%) and amide (2.2%) forms, magnesium 0.9% (MgO 1.5%), boron 1.5%, no chlorine.

Thanks to its high boron content the fertilizer suits sugar beet, oilseed rape and other oilseed crops. Per the maker, it supplies potassium during yield formation, when the roots work inefficiently or soil potassium is low, and the amide nitrogen improves the absorption of other elements.

Powder, 25 kg pack, country of manufacture: Netherlands.

Questions & answers

What farmers ask most

  • Rates depend on crop, prior history and soil analysis. Urea and other straight nitrogen grades are not an NPK complex: a cereal ballpark is often 100–250 kg/ha of product, but the exact dose is an agronomist's call.
