UAN N32+1Zn
UAN N32+1Zn — a liquid urea-ammonium mixture with 32% nitrogen in amide, ammonia and nitrate forms and 1% zinc for feeding, basal application and fertigation.
Main advantages
- Three forms of nitrogen — prolonged uptake
- Zinc 1% — resistance to late frosts, per the seller
- Winter crops 200–300 plants per 1 sq. m — 80–50 kg/ha N
- Crystallizes at −2 °C — per the seller
Overview
About this product
UAN N32+1Zn — a mixture of concentrated aqueous solutions of urea and ammonium nitrate with zinc: 32% nitrogen, 37% urea, 45% ammonium nitrate and 1% zinc. The nitrogen is in amide, ammonia and nitrate forms, so, per the seller, it is taken up over a prolonged period, and zinc raises plant resistance to adverse conditions, including late frosts.
A clear or light yellow liquid, it crystallizes at −2 °C and freezes at −26 °C, pH 8.5–8.9. Most advisable for small-grain cereals: early spring feeding of winter crops at 80–50 kg/ha of nitrogen at 200–300 plants per 1 sq. m and 50–40 kg/ha on denser crops.

Questions & answers
What farmers ask most
- Rates depend on crop, prior history and soil analysis. Urea and other straight nitrogen grades are not an NPK complex: a cereal ballpark is often 100–250 kg/ha of product, but the exact dose is an agronomist's call.
