UAN N32
UAN N32 — a liquid nitrogen fertilizer, a mixture of aqueous solutions of urea and ammonium nitrate with 32% nitrogen in amide, ammonia and nitrate forms.
Main advantages
- Amide, ammonia, nitrate N — prolonged action
- Winter crops 200–300 plants per 1 sq. m — 80–50 kg/ha N
- Mid stem elongation — 20–30 kg/ha of nitrogen
- Small-grain cereals — most advisable use
Overview
About this product
UAN N32 — a urea-ammonium mixture of concentrated aqueous solutions of urea (37%) and ammonium nitrate (45%) with a nitrogen content of 32%. The nitrogen is in amide, ammonia and nitrate forms: per the seller, microorganisms convert the amide form to ammonium, which is nitrified in warm soil, so uptake is prolonged.
The liquid crystallizes at −2 °C, pH 8.5–8.9. For winter crops after overwintering the nitrogen dose is 80–50 kg/ha at 200–300 plants per 1 sq. m and 50–40 kg/ha on denser crops, at mid stem elongation 20–30 kg/ha in a mix with retardants and fungicides.

Questions & answers
What farmers ask most
- Rates depend on crop, prior history and soil analysis. Urea and other straight nitrogen grades are not an NPK complex: a cereal ballpark is often 100–250 kg/ha of product, but the exact dose is an agronomist's call.
