Overview
About this product
ATS ammonium thiosulphate N12:S26 — a pure liquid solution of (NH4)2S2O3 of UAPG's own production containing 12% nitrogen in ammonium form and 26% sulphur. Per the maker, after application the thiosulphate breaks down into sulphate sulphur, available at once, and elemental sulphur, which later oxidizes to sulphate, so sulphur is available evenly over several weeks.
The solution dissolves well in water, density ≥1.32 kg/l, pH 6.5–7.8. It is compatible with UAN, liquid complex fertilizers and crop protection products; together with UAN, per the maker, it improves nitrogen uptake and reduces its losses from the soil.

Questions & answers
What farmers ask most
- Rates depend on crop, prior history and soil analysis. Urea and other straight nitrogen grades are not an NPK complex: a cereal ballpark is often 100–250 kg/ha of product, but the exact dose is an agronomist's call.
