Racer

Racer is a pre-emergence soil herbicide based on flurochloridone (250 g/L), formulated as an emulsifiable concentrate. It controls annual grass and broadleaf weeds — including common ragweed, fat hen, pigweed, shepherd's purse and volunteer rapeseed — in sunflower, potato, chickpea and carrot. Applied to a well-prepared, levelled seedbed before crop emergence, it is taken up through weed roots and inhibits carotenoid biosynthesis, bleaching and killing seedlings. It delivers long residual control and can reactivate after rain.
