Quantum Slow Nitrogen — a liquid concentrated slow-release nitrogen fertilizer: 360 g/l of nitrogen, of which 190 g/l slow-acting, for foliar and soil application and fertigation.

Main advantages

  • 190 of 360 g/l nitrogen — slow release
  • Amide nitrogen — quick uptake by the plant
  • With UAN in any ratio — 4 forms of nitrogen
  • Fertigation 20–50 l/ha — 3–6 times per season
  • Does not cause corrosion — per the maker

Overview

About this product

Quantum Slow Nitrogen — a liquid concentrated slow-release nitrogen fertilizer for gradual nitrogen supply in foliar and root feeding. It contains 360 g/l of total nitrogen, of which 190 g/l is slow-acting, the rest in amide form, which is taken up quickly; pH 8.0–10.5, density 1.24–1.28 kg/l.

Per the maker, it has low phytotoxicity and a low likelihood of scorch, wetting properties and does not cause corrosion. As a foliar it is applied at 5–25 l/ha, in fertigation of vegetable, fruit and berry crops and grapes at 20–50 l/ha 3–6 times; it can be applied to the soil alone or with UAN in any ratio.

Questions & answers

What farmers ask most

  • Rates depend on crop, prior history and soil analysis. Urea and other straight nitrogen grades are not an NPK complex: a cereal ballpark is often 100–250 kg/ha of product, but the exact dose is an agronomist's call.
