Quantum FitoFos — a liquid concentrated phosphorus-potassium fertilizer with P₂O₅ and K₂O at 250 g/l each, phosphorus in the form of phosphite and organic substances with anti-stress action for foliar feeding.

Main advantages

  • P₂O₅ and K₂O at 250 g/l each — P and K deficiency
  • Phosphorus as phosphite — moves in xylem and phloem
  • Pome fruit, stone fruit, grapes — 2.0 l/ha before flowering
  • Soybean at budding 2.0–2.5 l/ha — the maker's rate
  • Not with herbicides at early stages — caution

Overview

About this product

Quantum FitoFos — a concentrated fertilizer with phosphorus and potassium in a special form, per the maker very available to plants, for foliar feeding. It contains 250 g/l each of P₂O₅ and K₂O, phosphorus in the form of phosphite and a complex of organic substances with anti-stress action; pH 6.5–8.0, density 1.30–1.40 kg/l.

Per the maker's description, the product is taken up by both roots and leaves and moves through xylem and phloem. Wheat, barley, oilseed rape are treated at 1.0 l/ha, maize and sunflower at 1.0–2.0, soybean and pea at 1.0–2.5, beet at 0.5–1.0 l/ha, grapes and fruit crops at 2.0 l/ha before flowering, currant, raspberry, gooseberry, strawberry and vegetables at 1.0 l/ha.

For best results, feeding is recommended together with other products under the technology schemes for the crop

Method

Foliar feeding with standard sprayers: spray solution 200–400 l/ha for vegetable crops, 500–1000 l/ha for grapes and fruit crops

Conditions

Prepare the spray solution immediately before application: fill the tank 2/3 with water and, while stirring, add the components one at a time, waiting until the previous one is evenly mixed

Spray in the morning or evening; optimal air temperature 10–25 °C, wind up to 5 m/s

Tank mix

Joint application with plant protection products and other fertilizers is possible, but do not combine feeding with herbicide treatment at the early stages of plant development

Before mixing, check compatibility: a test spray solution must not form a precipitate, slight turbidity is acceptable

Questions & answers

What farmers ask most

  • Rates depend on crop, prior history and soil analysis. This is a straight fertiliser, not an NPK complex at 150–300 kg/ha. An agronomist sets the dose from nutrient offtake.
