Polko
Polko is a microbial stubble decomposer for breaking down crop residues of cereals, grain legumes, corn, sunflower, rapeseed and green manure crops. Bacillus, Pseudomonas and Azotobacter bacteria and Trichoderma fungi decompose residues without rotting, and adding nitrogen fertilizer (UAN, ammonium nitrate, urea) speeds up decomposition. Optimal conditions are adequate soil moisture and aeration, soil pH 6–7 and evenly chopped residues. The product is compatible with biologicals, growth regulators, insecticides and fertilizers; manufacturer: Biotech Active.

- 1–3 L/ha; cereals (wheat, rye, barley, oats, millet) — 1–1.5 L/ha + 10–12 kg/ha of nitrogen fertilizer; grain legumes (common bean, pea, faba bean) — 1 L/ha + 3–5 kg/ha; corn, sunflower, rapeseed — 2–3 L/ha + 10–15 kg/ha; green manure crops (mustard, vetch, oilseed radish, alfalfa, clover, flax, phacelia) — 1–1.5 L/ha + 1 kg/ha

- Treat stubble and crop residues with the spray solution; adding nitrogen fertilizer (UAN, ammonium nitrate, urea) speeds up decomposition. Optimal conditions: soil moisture and aeration, temperature, soil pH 6–7, N:C ratio = 1:25 (not more), evenly chopped plant residues. Compatible with chemical fungicides and fumigants except copper- and mercury-containing ones.
