Liquid microbial-enzyme bio-decomposer that speeds up the breakdown of crop residues, green manures and fallen leaves and improves soil health.

Main advantages

  • Up to 80% less nitrogen fertilizer — savings on residues
  • Cellulolytic enzymes — faster residue breakdown
  • Spore-forming microbes — survive frost and drought
  • Works 6–7 months — peak breakdown in the first 3–4

About this product

Rotura

Rotura is a liquid microbial-enzyme bio-decomposer for treating residues of cereals, grain legumes, oilseeds, industrial and vegetable crops, green manures and fallen orchard leaves. A complex of fungi and bacteria (Bacillus, Azotobacter chroococcum, Azotobacter vinelandii) with cellulolytic enzymes, potassium humates and fulvic acid speeds up residue breakdown and nutrient mineralisation and suppresses plant pathogens. It is applied right after harvest onto chopped residues together with nitrogen fertilizer in the tank mix and worked into the soil without delay; manufacturer: Sateh.

Rates, windows, expected results

Application rate
Residues of corn, sunflower, cereals (wheat, rye, barley, oats, millet) and grain legumes (bean, pea, broad bean, soybean) — 1.5–2.0 L/ha; green manures: mustard, rapeseed and others except legumes — 0.8–1.0 L/ha; legumes and cereal-legume mix — 1.0–1.5 L/ha; fallen leaves of fruit trees — 1.5–2.0 L/ha. Ammonium nitrate or UAN, kg/ha: corn 10.0; sunflower 30.0; cereals 10.0–15.0; grain legumes, legume green manures and mix 3.0–5.0; non-legume green manures 10.0; fallen leaves 15.0–50.0. Water 250–300 L/ha (non-legume green manures — 200–250 L/ha). Soil health treatment: 1 L per 15 ares (sotkas).
Window
Right after harvest onto chopped (30–100 mm), evenly spread residues; fallen leaves are sprayed directly in the orchard with any sprayer. Disc or plough as soon as possible after application ("track in track"), burying residues at 5–16 cm; under No-Till, roll the treated area. Nitrogen in the tank mix: N7–N10 for stubble of fine-stemmed crops and sugar beet, N10–N15 for stubble of coarse-stemmed crops. Spray from 18.00 to 10.00 or in cloudy weather; daytime only in sunless weather at no less than +5 °C. Optimum: pH 5.0–7.0, temperature 15–40 °C, soil moisture 60–70 %. If the mean daily temperature is below +5 °C, postpone application to spring. Compatible with most insecticides, herbicides, biologicals and fertilizers; not compatible with chemical fungicides.
Compatible crops
corn · sunflower · wheat · rye · barley · oats · millet · bean · pea · broad bean · soybean · mustard · rapeseed · green manures · fruit trees
