Maytus

Maytus — a post-emergence sulfonylurea herbicide containing rimsulfuron at a concentration of 250 g/kg in the form of water-soluble granules. The product controls perennial grass weeds, in particular couch grass and Johnson grass, annual grass and annual dicotyledonous weeds in maize crops. The systemic active substance is absorbed by the above-ground part of the plants and is transported to the apical meristems, where it blocks cell division. It is applied at the stage from 1 to 7 leaves of maize together with the surfactant Talant at a rate of 40–50 g/ha.
