KWS TAYO — a high-yielding winter rye hybrid for growing for grain and feed in Ukraine. A mid-season hybrid about 130 cm tall combines an extremely productive ear with the highest grain number index in its class, high resistance to lodging and grain of quality class A. The PollenPLUS technology provides abundant pollen production and reliable protection against ergot infection. High winter hardiness and drought resistance make the hybrid suitable for lighter sandy soils, and a considerable straw yield supports feeding programmes for pigs and sows.
