About this product
KWS PROPOWER — a hybrid winter rye bred by KWS, created specially for the production of biogas and silage. A mid-season hybrid about 130 cm tall forms 35-45 t/ha of silage mass, and the biogas output per tonne reaches the level of maize silage — about 200 m³. It combines very high winter hardiness and drought resistance with strong resistance to lodging and shedding. The PollenPLUS technology provides reliable resistance to ergot, making it a hardy fodder crop for regions with higher rainfall and heavier soils.
