About this product
KWS Krissi — a spring two-row malting barley bred by KWS, created for obtaining malting grain and a stable yield. The variety provides a high grading index and a good hectolitre weight of the grain, which meets the requirements of malting contracts. In agronomic terms it combines high resistance to lodging with resistance to brittleness of the ear and of the internode below the ear, which reduces losses from shedding during harvesting. Resistance to diseases is high with respect to powdery mildew and rhynchosporium and medium with respect to net blotch and dwarf rust. Suitable for farms that grow malting barley in the conditions of Ukraine.
