KWS FARO — a six-row winter malting-type barley bred by KWS, one of the largest winter malting barleys in Europe. The variety combines high grain quality — good grading and hectolitre weight — with rapid early development, early-medium heading and mid-season ripening. The short straw provides good resistance to lodging, while efficient use of fertilizers and a yield at the level of feed barleys make it a productive malting choice for the winter crop rotations of Ukraine.
