Gravitex Hi-Gear Rubberized Undercoating Black Beauty - an elastic anti-corrosion coating with a rubber filler and bitumen. It has excellent adhesion and covering power. The product is provided with an extension tube. Intended for treating the underbody, the wheel arches, the wings and the lower surfaces of the sills of the vehicle. Suitable for treating the inner surfaces of the body reinforcements, the bonnet and the doors. 

In professional body repair it is used for:

protecting welded seams from the inside of the panels;protecting the inner surfaces of new body panels (for treating wings, doors, bonnets and boots before installation on the vehicle). Advantages

Method of application

Use the product at an ambient temperature of from +10 to +30 °С.Clean the surfaces to be treated of old anti-corrosion coating that has peeled off, of dust and of dirt.Clean rusty areas with a metal brush, treat them with a rust converter and degrease them with petrol.Let the surface dry.Shake the can thoroughly (until the balls knock distinctly).Apply the anti-corrosion coating in an even thin layer in parallel strips, overlapping each preceding strip by 2-3 cm.Let the first layer dry for 20-30 minutes and apply the next layer using the same method. For the first treatment it is advisable to apply 2-3 layers. For subsequent repairs - 1-2 layers. To apply the anti-corrosion coating to the inner surfaces of the body reinforcements, the bonnet and the doors use the extension tube supplied.Dry the protective coating for 24 hours (not less than three).After applying the last layer it is necessary to remove the overspray from the paintwork.After partial use clear the sprayer for 1-2 seconds, having turned the can over with the valve pointing downwards and pressed it. Attention! Do not apply to the parts of the exhaust system!
