About this product
Harness is a pre-emergence soil herbicide from Bayer containing acetochlor at 900 g/l, formulated as an emulsifiable concentrate. It controls annual grass and broadleaf weeds in maize, sunflower and soybean, acting through the roots and shoots of germinating weeds before they emerge. Spray onto well-prepared, moist soil before, during, or shortly after sowing but ahead of crop emergence. Rates range from 1.5 to 3.0 l/ha depending on soil humus content, and residual activity lasts more than 12 weeks.
