CRC high-strength sealant Rigid Seal
An anaerobic adhesive based on methacrylate esters, developed to replace pre-formed profile gaskets on mechanical flanges. The product has a relatively fast initial bond, which allows moderate pressure to be applied.
Properties
Moderate and controlled shear force.Suitable for mechanical metal flange joints.Bonds instantly under low pressure (< 10 kg/cm2).Does not run or roll off.Does not mix after assembly.Not suitable for plastic joints.Hard to separate with an ordinary tool, even after several years.Thixotropy and high viscosity provide a fixing with good contact performance.Excellent resistance to: temperature, corrosion, vibration, water, gas, oils, hydrocarbon and most chemical substances. Fixing and bonding metal, mechanical flanges where all component parts have a limited difference in the coefficient of thermal expansion.Replaces and removes the need to use profile gaskets and seals.
