CRC silicone sealant Flex Seal pro

The adhesive sealant with silicone is used for forming gaskets, sealing joints, insulating edges and protrusions. Thanks to the silicone "flexibility" it penetrates all hard-to-reach places (including into cavities and scratches), ideally fills the whole space of use, forming a soft gasket that works hermetically under vibrations and "twisting". The silicone-based adhesive is used for sealing an edge. Ideal for insulating protrusions. The composition is resistant to the action of most chemicals and temperature fluctuations. Do not use it to replace the cylinder head gasket. The set includes a special flexible nozzle for treating hard-to-reach places.

Properties

• The CRC Flex Seal PRO sealant is supplied in a convenient can in order to ensure stable and uniform application. • CRC Flex Seal PRO – very viscous and thixotropic. It can be applied on vertical and overhead surfaces. • Excellent adhesion to materials such as metal, glass and most plastics. • High mechanical strength. • Very good elasticity in respect of flexible joints that are subject to vibrations, differences in thermal expansion and changes in load. • Increased resistance to UV radiation, moisture and most solvents. • Excellent working temperature from -40 to 250°С (short-term peak temperature up to 300°С).

Application

• It replaces many gaskets for automotive, industrial and marine engines. • Flanges with wide tolerances, like most unmachined flanges. • Flanges made of various materials or of sheet steel obtained from moulds. • Oil collectors (sumps), valve covers, engine covers, thermostat housings, water pumps, inlet and outlet openings of hoses and pipe unions. • Do not use to replace the cylinder block head.
