Nexur 46
Urea with 46% amide nitrogen and the urease inhibitor NBPT, which reduces nitrogen losses through ammonia volatilisation, for application on agricultural fields.
Main advantages
- Urease inhibitor NBPT — lower ammonia losses
- 46% amide nitrogen — high N concentration
- Can be blended with urea — per the maker
Overview
About this product
Nexur 46 — nitrogen fertilizer based on urea N 46 with the urease inhibitor NBPT. The inhibitor slows the hydrolysis of urea to ammonium nitrogen, so nitrogen losses through ammonia volatilisation are reduced and crop nitrogen nutrition becomes more efficient.
All the nitrogen, 46%, is in amide form. The maker states that this technology can be used in blends with other urea-based fertilizers.
The fertilizer is intended for use on agricultural fields. Bags of 25 and 50 kg, big bags from 500 kg.

Questions & answers
What farmers ask most
- Rates depend on crop, prior history and soil analysis. Urea and other straight nitrogen grades are not an NPK complex: a cereal ballpark is often 100–250 kg/ha of product, but the exact dose is an agronomist's call.
