About this product
Betanal Expert — a post-emergence herbicide for sugar beet that combines three active substances: phenmedipham, desmedipham and ethofumesate in the form of an emulsifiable concentrate. Phenmedipham and desmedipham suppress photosynthesis by disrupting the Hill reaction in the leaves of the weeds, and ethofumesate inhibits cell division in germinating seeds. The product controls a broad spectrum of annual dicotyledonous weeds, in particular fat hen, amaranth, knotweeds, cleavers and all crucifers. It is applied after emergence of the crop, starting from the cotyledon stage of the weeds, up to three consecutive treatments during the season.
