About this product
Axial 050 EC
Axial 050 EC is a post-emergence herbicide for wheat and barley containing 50 g/L pinoxaden together with the cloquintocet-mexyl safener, formulated as an emulsifiable concentrate. An ACCase inhibitor (HRAC Group 1), it controls annual grass weeds including wild oat, silky bent, ryegrass, foxtail and barnyard grass. It is applied at 0.9 L/ha from the start of tillering to the flag-leaf stage, ideally at the 3-leaf stage to the start of tillering of the weeds. Rainfast within 30 minutes after application and active from +5 degrees C.
