Main advantages
About this product
Puma Super is a selective post-emergence herbicide for cereal crops, combining the ACCase-inhibiting active fenoxaprop-P-ethyl (69 g/L) with the mefenpyr-diethyl safener (75 g/L) in an oil-in-water emulsion. It is absorbed through weed foliage and translocated to the growth points, controlling annual grass weeds such as wild oat, silky bent-grass, black-grass, foxtail and barnyardgrass in winter and spring wheat, rye, triticale and barley. Apply once at 0.8–1.0 L/ha from the weed two-leaf stage to the start of tillering.

Chemistry & regulatory profile
Active ingredients
Foliar-absorbed systemic ACCase inhibitor: fenoxaprop-P-ethyl moves to grass-weed growth points and blocks fatty-acid (lipid) synthesis, while the mefenpyr-diethyl safener detoxifies it in the cereal crop.
