About this product
Twist is a post-emergence herbicide for winter and spring wheat and barley, formulated as water-dispersible granules that combine halauxifen-methyl (a synthetic auxin) and florasulam (an ALS inhibitor) with a cloquintocet-mexyl safener. Its two modes of action control annual and some perennial broadleaf weeds, including cleavers, fat hen, ragweed, fumitory and species resistant to sulfonylureas and imidazolinones. Apply from the two-leaf stage to flag leaf, in 150–200 litres of water with a non-ionic surfactant.

Active ingredients
Dual mode of action: halauxifen-methyl acts as a synthetic auxin (arylpicolinate, HRAC group 4), while florasulam inhibits acetolactate synthase (ALS, HRAC group 2). The cloquintocet-mexyl safener improves selectivity to cereals. Both actives are systemic, taken up through leaves and roots and translocated to weed growing points.
