Full explanation
Three drift-reduction layers: (1) NOZZLES — anti-drift (AI-Air Induction, TurboDrop, TTI) create 400–800 µm droplets versus 100–200 µm for standard Flat-Fan, cutting drift 50–80%. A 24-nozzle 12 m boom set costs UAH 4,500–9,500; (2) PRESSURE — reduce from 3–4 bar to 1.5–2.5 bar (lower pressure = larger droplets); (3) ADJUVANTS — in-tank anti-drift (Greenwave, Eurowet, Border) add 0.5–1.0 mm droplet diameter by raising viscosity, at UAH 40–120/L. Operating rules: (1) wind <3–4 m/s (1–3 m/s ideal), (2) no temperature inversion (6–10 AM and 17–21 PM are optimal windows), (3) 10–25°C, humidity >50%. Drift-damage fines: up to UAH 340k under the Administrative Offences Code + damages compensation. Treating rapeseed near beehives requires 48-hour notification of beekeepers under Ukraine's Beekeeping Law (Law 1492-III).
