ATS is a technological breakthrough for farms using liquid fertilizers: a UAN-32 + ATS blend at 5:1 ratio delivers balanced N-S fertilization for rapeseed in a single pass. Compatible with herbicides, growth regulators, and micronutrients in tank mixes. In soil, the thiosulfate ion S₂O₃²⁻ is oxidized by Thiobacillus to sulfate over 2–4 weeks — prolonged action, greater effect than pure sulfate. Producers: Tessenderlo Kerley (USA, Belgium), imported to Ukraine via specialist distributors. No Ukrainian ATS production. April 2026 price: UAH 16 000–19 500/t [VERIFY]. Trade-off: more expensive than ammonium sulfate per kg S, but sharply cuts operational costs — one pass instead of two. For large liquid-nutrition farms (>1 000 ha), 1–2 season payback. For solid-NPK operations — irrelevant.
