Olimac·Harvesters
About this product
A header for harvesting maize. Available chopper; an adapter for the John Deere combine harvester.
The Olimac Drago has the longest pulling rollers in the world, namely 67 cm, which makes it possible to harvest even lodged maize without losses. The rollers are fitted with extending horizontal knives which, in combination with the self-sharpening horizontal knives that overlap each row (see the photo), chop the maize stalks perfectly.
Self-adjusting decks, which move apart and together by themselves for each maize stalk and thereby make it impossible for even small cobs to slip through.
Metal hoods from which the cobs do not jump out down to the ground, as happens with headers with plastic hoods. In addition, the hoods are painted with luminescent paint, which allows the combine operator to guide the header along the rows without problems even at night.
The drive chains are enclosed in sealed boxes filled with oil, which makes the ingress of dirt impossible and extends the service life of the chains and the sprockets.
