Grain drill Planter-5.4-02 (СЗ-5.4-06) (gearbox)

The grain drill model Planter-5.4-02 is developed for the row sowing of 2802 cereals (wheat, rye, barley, oat) and grain legume crops (pea, bean, soybean, lentil, broad bean, grass pea, chickpea, lupin) with the simultaneous application of mineral fertilizers. 

Advantages of the Planter-5.4-02 grain drill:

1) the coulter discs are made of boron steel 3 mm thick, which considerably increases the durability and extends the service life of the grain drill. The coulter ensures the cutting of crop residues and the penetration of the discs to a preset depth, which considerably improves the uniformity of emergence. Tubular-construction coulter arms are fitted on the grain drill, which ensure the paired positioning of the coulters along the longitudinal and horizontal arrangement. The coulter mounting rods are made of round (more rigid) section rolled metal with hinged joints for regulating the pressure on the soil and hinged joints, which ensures their reliability.

2) the metering unit box has been increased to 1500 dm3, which makes it possible to reduce the number of stops for loading the machine. The frame of the grain drill has a reinforced construction, which makes its deformation and destruction impossible. 

3) a reinforced spring is fitted on the shock absorber rod, which considerably increases the pressure on the coulter. This makes it possible to work under minimum tillage technology.

4) a separate hydraulic cylinder is fitted on each marker. Owing to this, the process of controlling the marker system by the operator directly from the tractor cab is simplified. 

5) in addition the grain drill is fitted with a system for controlling the sowing of 2802, which automates the process of operating the machine to the maximum.
