About this product
Famestra is a post-emergence sulfonylurea herbicide for wheat and barley, formulated as water-soluble granules combining tribenuron-methyl (600 g/kg) and florasulam (200 g/kg). Both actives inhibit the ALS enzyme, halting weed growth systemically after foliar uptake. It controls a broad range of annual and perennial broadleaf weeds, including thistle species, cleavers, wild poppy, and rapeseed and sunflower volunteers resistant to other chemistries. Apply once per season at 20-30 g/ha from the crop's 2-3 leaf stage through flag leaf, tank-mixed with Trend 90 surfactant.
