Supporter SU is a late-maturing linoleic sunflower hybrid (116–120 days) from Bayer's Dekalb range, developed for the ExpressSun herbicide system. An intensive-type hybrid, it delivers high yield potential under intensive cultivation and good tolerance to dry conditions. Oil content sits at 46–50%, with yield potential near 5.0 t/ha. It carries broomrape resistance across races A–G and rates highly against rust and alternaria, with solid tolerance to white rot, charcoal rot, downy mildew and phomopsis. Suited to moisture-limited fields under intensive management.
