SUVEX is a medium-early linoleic sunflower hybrid from KWS built for the SU (sulfo) herbicide system, which allows post-emergence control of broadleaf weeds with sulfonylurea (tribenuron-methyl) herbicides. It pairs high yield potential with 51-53% oil content and adapts well across Ukraine's Polissya, Forest-Steppe and Steppe zones, including sandy soils. Broomrape resistance covers races A-F, and it carries solid tolerance to downy mildew, Phomopsis and Sclerotinia. Rapid early development and firm lodging resistance suit early and optimal sowing dates.
