Pendigan

Pendigan is a selective pre-emergence herbicide containing pendimethalin at 330 g/L, formulated as an emulsifiable concentrate. Applied to the soil before crop emergence, it controls annual grass and broadleaf weeds in sunflower, soybean and carrot. The dinitroaniline active forms a stable herbicidal screen in the topsoil that stays active for three to six weeks, inhibiting weed seedling development without requiring immediate soil incorporation and without phytotoxicity to the crop. Use at 3.0–6.0 L/ha in 200–300 L of water per hectare.
