  • Organic nitrogen — fully used by the plant
  • Foliar boron feeding — tolerance to heat and drought

About this product

Nivaton Smart Boron

Nivaton Smart Boron is a liquid boron microfertilizer for foliar feeding of cereals, sunflower, rapeseed, corn, legumes, flax, buckwheat, potatoes, vegetables, fruit and berry crops and grapes. Boron is present as boron ethanolamine; zinc, manganese, copper and molybdenum are EDTA-chelated synergists that make boron uptake more complete. Feeding runs from tillering and leaf stages to budding and pre-flowering, when boron helps form reproductive organs and retain fruit set. It is a clear green liquid with a faint specific odour.

Questions & answers

What farmers ask most

  • Rates depend on crop, prior history and soil analysis. Urea and other straight nitrogen grades are not an NPK complex: a cereal ballpark is often 100–250 kg/ha of product, but the exact dose is an agronomist's call. The /calculators/npk tool is not the canonical rate for this product.
