About this product

Nivaton Boron 150

Nivaton Boron 150 is a liquid boron microfertilizer for foliar feeding of cereals, corn, sunflower, rapeseed, legumes, flax, sugar beet, potatoes, vegetables, fruit and berry crops and grapes. Boron sits in an organic ethanolamine complex; the plant converts the organic nitrogen into the amino acid glycine. Sprays are timed mainly to budding and pre-flowering: boron takes part in forming reproductive organs and in pollination but moves poorly within the plant. It is a clear, colourless or yellowish liquid.

Questions & answers

What farmers ask most

  • Rates depend on crop, prior history and soil analysis. Urea and other straight nitrogen grades are not an NPK complex: a cereal ballpark is often 100–250 kg/ha of product, but the exact dose is an agronomist's call. The /calculators/npk tool is not the canonical rate for this product.
