About this product
Micro-fertiliser Sergonol BORON
"SERGONOL®_BORON"
Concentrated boron micronutrient fertiliser in an organic (readily assimilated) form for foliar feeding of field, vegetable and perennial crops.
The product effectively eliminates boron deficiency in plants. It contains no ballast impurities, so it does not cause leaf damage and is fully taken up through the leaf surface of plants.
Boron takes part in pollen germination and ovary growth, so when it is deficient the seed productivity of plants falls sharply.
Boron is a necessary component of the cell wall. Boron performs an important function in carbohydrate metabolism. Under boron starvation the outflow of plastic substances, and above all of sugars, from the leaves is disrupted. The amount of boron is lower in sod-podzolic, grey and brown forest soils. Reduced boron uptake also occurs on acidic (carbonate) soils. Boron deficiency is aggravated when nitrogen fertilisers are applied in excessive amounts and under a moisture deficit. A typical manifestation of the disorders caused by boron shortage is the dying-off of the growing points, which is linked to the accumulation of toxic phenols. This process proceeds more intensively at elevated ambient temperatures. The root system develops poorly, since boron plays a significant role in its development. Growth of the roots and stems stops, then chlorosis of the upper growing point appears, and later, under a large boron shortage, it dies off completely. The reproductive organs of plants suffer especially badly from boron shortage; they end up in blind bloom and shedding of ovaries. > Boron is in a polymer form, which accounts for their broad spectrum of action. Thanks to the organic form, the micronutrient fertiliser is effectively taken up by plants through the leaf surface.
SERGONOL BORON contains surfactants that provide an «influx» effect and also reduce the surface tension of water, which in turn improves the spread of the tank mix from the leaf surface. Thanks to the micronutrient fertilisers, dust germinates better, ovary drop is eliminated and the development of the reproductive organs is enhanced. With preventive application of SERGONOL BORON, this has a positive effect on the sugar content of sugar beet and fruit and on the starch content of potatoes.
The micronutrient fertiliser is in a liquid state and ready for use. The product contains 36 g of potassium per litre. Which has a favourable effect on plant growth. If the product freezes, after thawing it does not form crystals. These processes in no way affect the composition of the product or its properties.
The composition of the micronutrient fertiliser allows treatments to be carried out at an air temperature above + 5 ° З
SERGONOL BORON treatments must be carried out with a solution that was prepared immediately before application. We also recommend using SERGONOL BORON jointly, which makes it possible to set the optimum acidity of the tank mix at 6.0 – 6.2. And this is the best pH level for the uptake of micronutrients.
SERGONOL BORON has a strong physiological effect on plants:
Enhances the development of the reproductive organs; Stimulates pollen germination , improves flower pollination; Reduces ovary shedding, increases fruit set; Increases enzyme activity, activates protein and phosphorus metabolism; Induces intensive uptake of moisture from the soil by plants; Promotes the accumulation of sugars in the tissues of winter crops and in the fruits of sugar beet and of fruit crops, increases the starch content of potatoes.
Application rate of the spray solution for foliar feeding: 200-300 l/ha.

Questions & answers
What farmers ask most
- Rates depend on crop, prior history, soil-analysis results, and current soil nutrient status. A typical NPK complex on cereals is 150–300 kg/ha. Use the /calculators/npk tool or consult an agronomist for an exact dose.
