About this product
MetaRiz is a biological soil insecticide in a water-soluble powder form based on spores of the entomopathogenic fungi Metarhizium anisopliae and Trichoderma harzianum with a total titer of not less than 10^9 CFU/g. It controls soil-dwelling pests including wireworms, mole crickets, May beetle larvae, cutworm larvae, diabrotica and Colorado potato beetle, while suppressing soil-borne pathogens. Applied by soil spraying in autumn or spring before cultivation, or through drip irrigation during the growing season on moist soil.

Active ingredients
Metarhizium anisopliae spores germinate on contact with the pest cuticle within 10-12 hours, penetrate and infect the nervous system, respiratory organs, gut and muscle tissue causing mycosis and death; Trichoderma harzianum parasitizes and outcompetes soil pathogens and promotes root development.
