Metabo Hruntovyi
Metabo Hruntovyi is a biological soil insecticide against larvae and adults of Colorado potato beetle, chafers, mole crickets, click beetles, wireworms, cutworms, nematodes and other pests. Spores of Metarhizium anisopliae and Beauveria bassiana penetrate the insect cuticle and kill it within a few days, so the product is worked into the soil, preferably after harvest, before sowing or before nitrogen fertilization. The fungi work only in moist soil, while UV light and soil temperatures below 12–14 °C reduce efficacy. It is not combined with chemical fungicides, fumigants or Trichoderma-based biologicals.

- Application rate
- Soil pests: 4–8 L/ha in 200 L of water (first application a double dose of 8 L/ha, repeat application the following year 4 L/ha); nematodes: 2 L/ha in 200 L of water monthly; above-ground pests: 1–2.5 L/ha in a tank mix
- Window
- Soil pests — autumn, spring, summer: preferably after harvest (alone or with a residue decomposer), 2 weeks before sowing, before nitrogen fertilizer application; even application with mandatory soil incorporation, soil spraying, irrigation, drip irrigation or dry broadcasting followed by incorporation; manure or compost treatment when the heap is laid (autumn, spring) and preventively in summer. Nematodes — monthly soil drench before planting and throughout the year, in open field and greenhouses. Above-ground pests — during the growing season, spray flowers and buds when pests appear and preventively; against aphids and thrips spray the leaf underside; against ants and termites drench the soil where they nest. Use systematically over several years; UV light, lack of moisture and soil temperatures below 12–14 °C reduce efficacy.
