Carburetor Cleaner – a highly effective cleaner for the carburettor without dismantling it. It cleans the throttle and choke valves, diffusers, jets and all other accessible internal surfaces of carburettors quickly, gently and effectively, and also their external surfaces. Applicable to all two-or four-stroke petrol engines, with and without catalytic converters.

Properties:

It is a mixture of highly effective organic solvents. It contains no acetone.It completely dissolves and removes all typical carburettor contamination of various origins.It does not clog the engine assemblies located behind the carburettor: valves, combustion chamber and so on.It stabilises idling speed, makes cold starting easier and improves the capacity of the engine.It optimises the operation of the intake system by cleaning and lubricating its moving parts.The product contains substances that are aggressive towards painted surfaces and plastics.It reduces fuel consumption (by up to 5%) and the toxicity of exhaust gases.It is used for cleaning sealless motorcycle chains, timing chains, clutch parts, oil pumps, gear wheels, crankshafts and other unpainted metal assemblies and engine parts. Application:

Switch off the engine and remove the air filter. Direct access to the throttle valve must be obtained.Spray the product onto all internal surfaces of the carburettor that are within the access zone and also, if necessary, onto the external surfaces.Let them dry.Refit the air filter. It is advisable to replace it.Start the engine and let it run at medium revolutions, at which point driving can already begin. You can also let the engine run at idle for 20 s at 2000 rpm so that the remaining contamination in the injection system can burn off. If the engine allows it, that is, if it can maintain stable revolutions with the air intake disconnected, cleaning can be carried out with the engine running. If this does not work, contact a service centre. Sometimes it is sufficient to disconnect the air flow meter for this. With the engine running the cleaning process is significantly intensified. At the same time, do not allow the product to get onto the air flow meter and painted parts.
