Макстар — післясходовий системний гербіцид у формі концентрату, що емульгується, із вмістом флуроксипір-мептилу 250 г/л, синтетичного ауксину групи піридилокси-карбоксилатів. Потрапляючи на листя, він знищує однорічні та деякі багаторічні дводольні бур'яни, зокрема березку польову й підмаренник чіпкий, а також біотипи, стійкі до 2,4-Д і 2М-4Х. Обприскують озимі та ярі зернові від кущення до прапорцевого листка, кукурудзу у фазі 3–8 листків і цибулю нормою 0,5–0,8 л/га в суху безвітряну погоду в ранні фази росту бур'янів.
