About this product
Maisi
Maisi is a liquid biological rodenticide concentrate for preparing grain bait against mice, voles and rats on crops, hayfields, pastures, orchards, shelter belts, farms and warehouses. Wheat, corn, barley, oat or rice grain is soaked in the concentrate; Salmonella enteritidis bacteria trigger an epizootic, and infected rodents pass the infection on to healthy ones. The bait is applied mechanically, by hand or with a spreader, and oil, vanillin, sugar or broth can be added to improve uptake. Manufacturer: Biotech Active.

- Application rate
- Concentrate: 1 L per 10 kg of grain (+2…+14 °C), 1 L per 7 kg of grain (-5…+2 °C and +15…+20 °C); bait: 1.5–2 kg/ha (prevention), 2–4 kg/ha (high mouse and vole density), 3–5 kg/ha (farms, perennial grasses); indoors 0.5–2 g/m²

- Grain is soaked in the concentrate for 20 minutes and used; the bait is spread on fields and where rodents gather, around grain storage bags, in buildings, on livestock farms and in warehouses — mechanically, by hand or with a spreader. Application temperature from -5 to +15 °C, optimum +2…+12 °C; above +15 °C the concentration is raised to 1 L per 7 kg of grain. If efficacy is low, place the bait near burrows and check uptake after a few days; replace uneaten bait with another grain. Wear gloves.
