About this product
The Cooling tank for Lely Astronaut is a milk cooling and storage tank that works together with the Lely Astronaut milking robot. Cooling starts from the first drop, and the cooling capacity adjusts automatically to the volume of milk in the tank.
Rotating spray heads clean the tank, and milking continues while it is being cleaned. The tank is available with integrated heat recovery, which reuses the heat from milk cooling elsewhere on the farm, and with CO₂ as the refrigerant.
